Story Mode: Players control Lightning McQueen as he challenges the Delinquent Road Hazards—Boost, Wingo, DJ, and Snot Rod—to a series of races. The narrative unfolds with Lightning aiming to have the Tuners leave Radiator Springs if he wins. The climax features a race against Chick Hicks at the Carburetor County Speedway.
