Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a comprehensive action-platformer released on October 23, 2007. This compilation revitalizes the classic Rondo of Blood, previously unreleased outside Japan, and includes the acclaimed Symphony of the Night, all enhanced with modern visuals and additional content.

• Remake of Rondo of Blood: The core of the game is a 2.5D remake of Rondo of Blood, featuring updated 3D character models and backgrounds while preserving the original side-scrolling gameplay. Players control Richter Belmont as he battles through Dracula’s minions to rescue his beloved Annette. ​

• Playable Characters: In addition to Richter, players can unlock and play as Maria Renard, who offers a different set of abilities and attacks, providing a fresh gameplay experience. ​

• Unlockable Content: Completing specific objectives unlocks the original Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night, allowing players to experience these classics in their original forms. ​

• Boss Rush Mode: A new addition to this release is the Boss Rush mode, where players can face off against a series of bosses in succession. This mode can be played cooperatively with a second player via the PSP’s Ad-Hoc wireless connection. ​
