Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition is an enhanced version of the original visual novel adventure game, now available on the Nintendo Switch. In this game, you play as Makoto Naegi, a student at Hope's Peak Academy, an elite high school for the nation's most talented students. The story takes a dark turn when Makoto and his classmates become trapped in the school by a sadistic bear named Monokuma, who forces them into a deadly game: to escape, a student must murder a classmate and avoid detection during the subsequent class trial.

The gameplay is divided into two main phases: "School Life" and "Class Trials." During "School Life," players explore the academy, interact with other students, and gather clues. In "Class Trials," players must analyze evidence and testimonies to identify the culprit among their peers. The Anniversary Edition introduces a gallery feature, allowing players to view event illustrations, scenes, and listen to voiced dialogue, enhancing the overall experience.
