SNK Tag Team Frenzy

In SNK Heroines, players select a pair of characters: an Attacker and a Supporter. The Attacker is the primary fighter, while the Supporter assists during combat. The game introduces a simplified control scheme with two main attack buttons—light and heavy—and a dedicated button for special moves. A unique feature is the "Spirit Gauge," which fills as players land hits or take damage. Once filled, the gauge allows the execution of powerful "Dream Finishers," cinematic moves that are the only way to win a match.

Matches also incorporate items that can be used by the Supporter, adding an element of strategy and unpredictability. These items range from healing potions to humorous objects like banana peels.
