The Plot

Army of Two: The 40th Day focuses on two-player cooperative play, following two self-employed private contractors Tyson Rios and Elliot Salem. This third-person shooter for the PS3 takes place in Shanghai, China, where a series carefully organized catastrophic events have left the city on the brink of ruin. Both protagonist must work together to beat the odds, and stop antagonist Jonah Wade from setting off a bomb and killing 7 million people in the process.
