DYNASTY WARRIORS 8 : XTREME LEGENDS – (PS3)

An updated expansion of Dynasty Warriors 8, Xtreme Legends offers gamers an extensive new story involving the famed general Lü Bu, a number of new hypothetical scenarios, new playable characters, an enhanced Ambition mode, the return of Challenge mode, and cross-platform play. The game’s maximum level cap has been raised to 150, and each of the more than 80 Story mode characters has gained a new attack. New hypothetical scenarios alter the outcome of historical events, and the updated Ambition mode adds a new objective, asking gamers to construct a palace and then unite Han China.

Last seen in Dynasty Warriors 6, the Challenge mode returns in Xtreme Legends to provide arcade-style action and online rankings across five different courses. The goal in Storm is to defeat as many enemies as possible in the allotted amount of time, Comet finds players attempting to knock foes off the edge of the map, Thunderclap is a race to a specific area, Gathering lets gamers fight against every playable general until their health is depleted, and Conflagration asks players to defeat every enemy before time expires. Gamers can save data from the PS3 version of Dynasty Warriors 8 and use it for their Vita or PS4, and cross-platform play lets them enjoy co-op action with friends on any of the three systems.
