Maid of Sker

Maid of Sker is a first-person survival horror game set in 1898, inspired by Welsh folklore and the haunting tale of the real-life Sker House. Players take on the role of Thomas Evans, a musician who receives a desperate plea from his beloved Elisabeth Williams, summoning him to the eerie and isolated Sker Hotel. Upon arrival, he discovers the once-grand establishment shrouded in darkness, inhabited by terrifying, blind enemies known as the Quiet Ones, who hunt by sound.

Armed with nothing but his wits and a mysterious sound-based device, Thomas must navigate the labyrinthine corridors of the hotel, solving complex puzzles, uncovering dark secrets, and evading the relentless pursuit of the Quiet Ones. The game emphasizes stealth mechanics, where silence is key—holding your breath, moving carefully, and avoiding noise can mean the difference between life and death.
